I’m Denise Sawyer, of WholeseomeMommy.com  I have a Masters in Education.  I am a teacher at heart and by occupation for ten years.  That is why I started this blog, to teach others all that I have learned about living a wholesome life.

I began blogging in February of 2007, under the name “The ‘Cents’ible Sawyer,” a blog about frugal living, deal seeking, and couponing. But, in March of 2009 my world changed.  I had my first child.  I began to look at food differently.  Due to my new found fascination with whole – unprocessed foods I realized I had more to share, so I founded WholesomeMommy.com in May of 2010.  My goals were, and still are, to share all that I have learned and am learning about choosing wholesome foods.  I realized there were many moms {and dads} just like me that wanted to eat better and feed their families better.

There are many obstacles for those of us who are trying to eat better: tricky food labels, price, availability of whole foods, and of course, time to prepare said foods. I began WholesomeMommy.com as a way to help navigate these problems.  I am demystifying the food labels, teaching others which foods are worth their hard earned dollars and which will give them the best value for their dollar, where to purchase wholesome foods on a budget, and how to prepare those foods without spending all day {or night} in the kitchen.

A Fresh New Start – Not Starting Over

The switch from The Centsible Sawyer blog to Wholesome Mommy brought a fresh start for my blog and my voice – but all is not new.  I brought my following with me.  I’ve maintained my relationships which I started at the Centsible Sawyer blog and have forged new friendships and partnerships along the way.

During the time I have been blogging I’ve  built a large (and growing) readership because I am honest, open, and genuine. My readers know that I write about what I am passionate about and share products with them through reviews and give aways only when I can get behind the products 100%.

Building New Partnerships & Relationships

I’m always looking for the latest and greatest items on the market that are going to help me and other moms save money and/or time as well as products and REAL foods that are organic, natural, gmo-free,  and family friendly. If you’re looking to connect with other influential mom bloggers and moms all over the nation and you’ve got a product you would like for me to review and or create buzz about on and offline you can contact me at denisesawyer@gmail.com

  2. Hello,

We are looking for bloggers to help us get the word out on some awesome daily deals we have to offer here at SaveMore.

Please let me know if there is interest in letting your reader know about the deals we offer.

Do you have any cohorts (yes I looked it up to make sure it was correct – a group of subjects with common defining characteristics) who might be interested?

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thank you
    Mark
