Menu Plan 11.22.10

Well, last week I made two big batches of pumpkin bread to deliver to my co-workers.  But, the bagels didn’t happen.  So, this Wednesday that is my goal.  I’m making a batch of homemade bagels.  Other things I want to accomplish this week in the kitchen are, homemade pie crust for pecan pies for Thanksgiving, and a chicken pot pie made entirely from scratch with a double homemade pie crust.  (Yes mom, you’re invited! LOL).

  1. Had Vegetable Stew (made with beef stock for a more classic “stew” taste) over the mayonnaise rolls last night. Very lovely!!

    And also, I have had success turning the Homemade Baguette into a Whole Wheat Baguette. Sub whole wheat flour and add 1 Tbsp of vital wheat gluten for every cup of flour. SOOOOO yummy and a hit at our dinner table! :)
