The Fourth of July is just around the corner! Next to fireworks, food is the main attraction! What are you serving up? So many people are trying to loose weight or watch their weight, why not serve up something healthy, like this Spinach and Blueberry Layered Salad in a Jar? It could be the main dish for a vegetarian guest, someone trying to eat a little lighter, or even a side dish to go along side your big juicy burger or rack of ribs.
:: Spinach and Blueberry Layered Salad in a Jar
Sliced Red Onion
Mandarin Oranges, drained
Layer all the ingredients in a jar. Add the vinaigrette just before you eat it!
I bought everything I needed to make this salad at Walmart…right down to the mason jars. This salad would go great with some watermelon, some southern sweet tea and some homemade banana pudding. Now its starting to sound like a party!
